We are always looking for quality publications to compliment our team. All Leadership Publishing Team products are presented in the most professional manner. As a contibutor to The Leadership Pubishing Team you will join a list of esteemed coaches, educators and other professions who have published with us.

What type of content can I submit?
 
Any content related to leadership, coaching, and education. We also accept business content as well as self-improvment content.
 
What you get for using our service:
 
Once your content is accepted you are own your way to becoming a published author. We handle the layout, cover and all the ingredients of the book. Then we get your book listed with all the major book retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble and our own website. All manufacturing and shipping is taken care of. Your book remains in-stock, without inventory, made on-demand when customers order. We bascially act as a self publisher for the self publishing author. Your book will be published through an on-demand publisher. Currently, our account is with CreateSpace. We reserve the right to change printers/publishers at any time.
 
How The Process Works:
 
  1. You pay the $20 submission fee.
  2. You submit a word document file that contains your content via email to us. You simply write it & we do the work. However, keep in mind we do not check your content for spelling or grammatical errors. Even though we handle all of the design and layout we do not edit any of your material.
  3. We check the content to ensure that it is appropriate and that it meets our content requirements outlined in our Publisher Agreement. We then send you an invoice for the remaining fee. You pay, we publish, and you are officially published.

 

How Much Does It Cost?
 
There is a submission fee of $20 that is required when you submit content. After the content has been accepted the remaining fee is a one-time fee of $279. That's all you'll ever have to pay to have your book sold through major book retailers.
 
You can also elect to have your product sold as an e-book which can be read on devices such as Amazon's Kindle and Barnes & Noble's Nook. The fee for this option is $129. A complete list of fees is contained in our Publisher Agreement. If for some reason we do not accept your content it will be returned to you along with a written explanation as to why we were unable to publish your content.

 

How Long Does It Take To Become Published?

 

The process usually takes about 3 weeks until the content is formated completely into a book.It is then usually available for sale on all of the major book retailers' site within 6 weeks.
 
How do I get paid?
 

The Leadership Publishing Team pays your royalties for a given month's sales at the end of the following month, as long as you have met the applicable payment threshold. For example, you will receive your royalty payment at the end of May covering sales made in April. The lag time covers any sales revenue collections, payment processing and returns.

Additionally, books sold through the Expanded Distribution Channel will have a different payment schedule than those sold through The Leadership Publishing Team’s website or store. Payment for these sales will take place within 60 days after the end of the month in which the sales were made which allow lag time for possible returns.

 

You will receive a detailed spreadsheet each month listing the number of products sold as well as the sales channel they were sold through.

 

How are royalities determined?

 

Your royalty is the list price you've designated for your book, minus our share. The complete terms and how we caluculate our share is found in the Publisher Agreement.

 

Will my book be available in bookstores?

 

It will be available through all major online book retailers. It is up to each retailer to determine if they want to stock the book in their store.

 

What about marketing and promotion?

 

After your book has been completed it will be made available for sale at various online book retailers, most notably Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and LeadershipPublishingTeam.com. There is no way we can guarantee sales of your product. Other then the listing of your product on these sites, we are not responsible for any other type of promotional activity. Of course, you, as the author and owner of your material, can market your own product as you wish.

 

Can I get copies of my book?

 

Yes. You can purchase your book at the manufacturing cost plus shipping and handling. Complete terms are found in the Publisher's Agreement.

 

Do I have to do anything else?

 

No simply send us the content and we handle the rest. You don't have to worry about such details as layout, cover design or anything.

 

Can I choose the cover, format and other particulars of the book?

 

Your book will be a perfect bound, paperback book. You can elect to have it in color or black and white print. See the Publisher Agreement for the difference in manufacturing cost.

 

Your book cover is designed through the on-demand publisher that we use. To ensure that your book meets all specifications you will not be able to design your cover. You have the option to include two photographs such as an author's photo that can be included on the front and back cover if they meet the proper specifications.

 

What if I don't like the way my book looks? Can I get my money back?

 

You always retain copyright right to any content you submit and you can ask to terminate your relationship with us at any time. See the Publisher Agreement for specific details. Because of the production costs and labor all fees are non-refundable

 

What about e-books?

 
You can elect to have your product sold as an e-book which can be read on devices such as Amazon's Kindle and Barnes & Noble's Nook. The fee for this option is $129. If for some reason we do not accept your content it will be returned to you along with a written explanation as to why we were unable to publish your content.

If you would like to submit your content, please pay your $20 submission fee. After paying your submission fee you should email your content to us as a word document. The content can be sent as an attachment or as part of the email itself. If your content is a good fit for our family of products, we will contact you with an invoice for the remaining service of bringing your book to print. - Thank you.
